There was discussion regarding the new carpeting, which Kathy Phillips said Hennick’s will be supplying. The Altar Society will be contributing $2000.00 toward the $8000.00 cost. The carpeting will be installed in three classrooms, the hall, AA room and the youth activities room.

May 3rd will be a general clean-up day of the Parish. Kathleen Stadelman offered to organize and purge the youth group room during Spring Break. And a date will be decided later to clean it up.

Update on 125th preparations.

Kathy Phillips reported not every family has had their pictures taken. It needs to be done by the middle of April to be completely organized.

Cathy Cowan and Elaine Caldwell are working on purchasing Commemorative Water Glasses at a cost of $2.30 to be sold at $5.00 for our 125th anniversary.

Cathy Phillips reported that Jan Freitag is working on book marks.

Elaine discussed possible table placements and other decorations. Alice Stadelman will be helping with the flowers. The service dishes will be white plates and red napkins.

Hors d'oeuvres and dessertswill be served. A list will be made up for the different foods to be brought and phone calls will be made after the April meeting to let parishioners know what to bring.

It was reported Father Heiko suggested inviting Barbara Mudge, Father Bill’s family, and the new priest. If they were to attend there might possibly be a head table set up for them.

Alice Stadelman was “nominated” to clean the silver coffee service.

The next Altar Society meeting on April 24 will finalize the food and serving preparations for the 125th.
